Starting his profession in real estate as a licensed
salesperson, Terry quickly realized that this was an industry where he could create
a career. As an agent, he
effectively marketed residential, commercial and multi-family dwellings for
Silicon Valley residents, investors and corporate transferees. Terry gained a keen understanding of
the escrow process and the ability to problem solve in demanding situations, a skill
he relies upon every day as a mentor, coach and teacher to his agents.
The next logical step in Terry’s career path was becoming
a branch manager. In that position,
Terry brought a realistic insight to the everyday challenges that faced his
agents having been an agent himself.
As branch manager, Terry’s ability to lead and create relationships
gained traction. Terry developed office strategy including creating new avenues
of marketing, community development and inter-office relations. During his tenure as manager, not only
did Terry’s office gross revenue increase by 79% and have the highest company mortgage
capture rate in the region, but it became the #5 office in the Century 21
system worldwide.
After his promotion to Executive Vice President, one of
Terry’s main focuses was to assist Branch Managers in creating and implementing
systems to continually improve management functions. With daily reviews of management
tracking forms, Terry created an environment of accountability. Terry expanded his experience while
acting as a liaison between Century 21 Seville-Contempo and Century 21
Corporate and NRT Inc. Northern California.
As one of the founders of Intero Real Estate services in
2002, Terry focused on the recruiting and hiring the management team as well as
developing company policy & standards, creating vision & values and was
a critical ingredient in growing the company to 1800 agents and 40
offices. During his tenure as the
Executive Vice President, Terry specialized in developing the company’s
ancillary services including improving mortgage and title capture rates in each
office.
As a Founder of Intero, Inc. and Chief Operations Officer
for Intero Cambrian Park, Terry Meyer utilizes his 25 years of experience in
all aspects of the real estate industry and his unparalleled knowledge to the
great advantage of his team of agents.
In just one year, Intero Cambrian Park became the 13th Ranked real estate operation in Silicon Valley for 2008.
Education is an essential element in Terry’s approach to
success. With a robust curriculum that promotes goal setting, business planning

development in legislative, economic and environmental issues in the state.
